In a few simple steps, learn how to disassemble and replace the battery of the Mini Cooper key fob. First, take your key fob and start by removing the physical key from inside it; use something thin to pry open the fob into two parts, exposing the circuit board and the battery, as shown in the video.

At this point, remove and replace the battery with a new one of the correct type and with the same code; then reassemble the circuit board by putting the fob shell back together!
