Replacement of the Mini Cooper convertible top

Today we will see the step-by-step instructions on how to disassemble and replace the hood of the Mini Cooper, in simple and quick steps. First, we open the front doors of the car and the rear hatch; now we proceed to detach the hood at the back, then detach the front part of the hood from the plastic frame, as shown in the video. At this point, we unscrew the screws located in the center of the hood, performing the same operation on the rear part; then we detach the hood from the side pillars, removing it and replacing it with the new one. Apply the reverse process for reassembly!

How to Adjust the Handbrake on VW Polo

If pulling the handbrake lever results in a long travel distance, significantly exceeding the usual 4 to 5 clicks, it means you need to adjust the travel to compensate for cable slack and wear on the shoes. This is a manual operation carried out using the adjustment nuts located at the base of the handbrake lever.
