Model: Mini Mini R52, R50, R53 - Years 2001-2007
Part: Convertible top

Today we will see the step-by-step instructions on how to disassemble and replace the hood of the Mini Cooper, in simple and quick steps. First, we open the front doors of the car and the rear hatch; now we proceed to detach the hood at the back, then detach the front part of the hood from the plastic frame, as shown in the video. At this point, we unscrew the screws located in the center of the hood, performing the same operation on the rear part; then we detach the hood from the side pillars, removing it and replacing it with the new one. Apply the reverse process for reassembly!

How to Remove the Armrest on the Centre Tunnel of a Volkswagen Golf

Let’s see how to remove the armrest on the centre tunnel of a Volkswagen Golf. Unscrew the securing screws (located inside the cup holder) with a screwdriver; use a plastic lever to pry off the cover at the rear of the centre tunnel (air vents). After removing the plastic cover, unscrew the securing bolts in the centre armrest using a socket wrench. Once this is done, pull off the tunnel and disconnect any power cables. Finally, insert the new part into the centre tunnel, and reassemble all components of the glove compartment as previously disassembled.
