Oil and filter change on a Mitsubishi L200.

In this video, we will see how to change the oil and filter of a Mitsubishi L200. To change the oil, we first open the fill cap to facilitate drainage, then we need to go under the vehicle: the oil pan is located directly under the engine, so we need to remove the protection to access it. We remove the drain bolt, making sure to have a collection pan for at least eight liters underneath, so we can properly dispose of the used oil at an authorized collection center. It will take about 20 minutes for the oil to drain. We put in a new bolt and a new gasket, then we go to the engine compartment, where we will remove the filter, which is located on the left side, under the turbo. We remove it counterclockwise and drain any remaining oil into the pan, then we replace the filter, making sure to lubricate the gasket with some new oil; then we put it back in place. Now it's time to refill the oil: we need six liters of the type recommended by the manufacturer. We fill it up to 90% of the capacity, then start the engine and let it run at idle for a few minutes. We turn it off and wait for the engine to cool down. We measure and top off until we reach the "max" mark. Operation completed.
