Replacing the air filter on a Mitsubishi Colt? Let's see how the engine compartment is removed from inside. We open the car door, pull up the engine compartment opening lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift up the front hood, we secure the same with the rod. We unscrew the screw of the clamp that connects the air tube to the container. Release the filter holder fastening clips: uncover the filter box cap and extract the worn air filter. We insert a new filter in the dedicated housing (making it adhere well around the walls). We connect the big pipe and tighten the screws. We close the front hood at the end of the maintenance.
