Replacing the air filter on a Mitsubishi Colt? Let's see how to remove it from inside the engine bay. Open the car door, pull up the engine bay release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, and lift the front bonnet. Secure it with the prop rod. Unscrew the clamp screw that connects the air hose to the housing. Disconnect the securing clips of the filter holder: remove the cover of the filter box and extract the worn air filter. Insert a new filter into the designated housing (ensuring it fits snugly around the edges). Reconnect the large hose and tighten the screws. Close the front bonnet after maintenance.
