Lift the rear of the motorcycle onto a stand to replace the rear pads. Remove the pin clip from the caliper pin (if you can't do it by hand, use pliers) and then remove the pin itself (the video shows using a nail and a hammer to push it out). Most of the work is already done! Yes, because having removed the pin, the caliper will no longer be tight on the pads, allowing you to easily pull them out by hand. Obviously, the new pads will be thicker, so you will need to spread the pistons by inserting any tool that can leverage them.
