Remove the lower fairing by undoing the safety clips. Ensure the engine is not too hot. Position a container under the bike and undo the plug under the oil sump. Be careful when removing the bolt as oil will flow out abundantly. Remove the oil filter located behind the sump and keep the bike upright to drain as much as possible. Fit the new filter and the plug. Now you can top up with new oil.

How to Replace the Engine Oil and Oil Filter on an Aprilia RSV 1000
