Replacing the stator on Mvagusta F4

On Mvagusta F4 the stator is located under the tank, so to access it you must initially remove the saddle and the left side fairing next to them. Once this is done, as shown in the video, you can unscrew the two bolts (both having a washer) of the stator with an extendable socket wrench. Extract the stator from its seat by pulling it from above with snap pliers and helping yourself from below with the other hand (for this the removal of the side fairing). Obviously, for reassembly, all you have to do is proceed backwards up to the assembly of the saddle.

First of all, we wait for the engine to be cold enough, so that we can work safely, then we place a container under the motorcycle, locate the drain hole bolt and unscrew it using a socket wrench. We then let all the oil in the system drain out, unscrew the old filter and tighten both the replacement and the bolt. At this point, all that remains is to pour in the new oil through the appropriate upper hole.
