The service light on the Nissan X Trail can be reset by the owner without any workshop tools. Follow these steps: First, press the Start button to activate the instrument panel.

Then, press the OK button on the control panel on the left side of the steering wheel to open the menu and select "Settings". Once here, press the button with three lines, also on the left side of the steering wheel, and from the new submenu, select "Maintenance" and then "Service". Finally, confirm by selecting "Yes".
