Replacing the Car Radio with a Newer Model

Model: Nissan Micra K12 - Years 2002-2010

To access the connections of the car radio, you need to remove the upper part of the entire dashboard. Start by removing the screws located in the glove compartment above the radio. Remove the screws located on the dashboard beneath the radio. Remove the two plastic side pillars of the roof by prising at the edges with a plastic tool to disengage the retaining pins. Unscrew the remaining screws of the upper panel, which should be removed gently by lifting it. You can now access the connectors at the back of the radio and subsequently remove the radio itself. After replacing it, turn on the radio and check all functions offered by the new installation.
