How to Replace the Timing Belt on a Nissan Qashqai

To replace the timing belt on a Nissan Qashqai, lift the car so you can remove the front right wheel and the inner cover of the wheel arch. Once this is removed, you will have access to the underlying pulleys: specifically, loosen the central bolt of the tensioner roller to reduce the tension and slide the belt out of its housing. This will allow you to fit the new replacement part around the pulleys, tightening the nut of the tensioner roller again and reassembling all the other removed parts.
