Operation: How to replace the timing belt on a Nissan Qashqai

Before we can start, we will have to go and lift our Nissan Qashqai. So let's start by removing the front wheel and the internal wheel arch. After that, we will have to open the engine hood, then remove the engine cover and the timing belt cover. Having done this, we will have to loosen the belt tensioner and remove the timing belt. By the time we have completed this last step, we will have successfully completed the disassembly. To fit the new timing belt, we will just have to follow these steps in reverse, and we will have completed the replacement.

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
