How to Replace the Timing Belt in a Nissan Qashqai

Before you can start, lift your Nissan Qashqai. Begin by removing the front wheel and the inner wheel arch. After that, open the engine bonnet, then remove the engine cover and the timing belt cover. Once this is done, loosen the tensioner and remove the timing belt. After completing this last step, you will have successfully disassembled the timing belt. To install the new timing belt, simply follow these steps in reverse, and you will have completed the replacement.
