In this video tutorial, you can see how to perform the maintenance reset on a Nissan Sentra. The first step is to complete the vehicle maintenance, such as changing the engine oil and filters. After performing the DIY service, get inside the vehicle and engage the parking brake; ensure that all doors and windows are closed. Next, insert the key and turn it to the ON position. Then, slowly press the accelerator pedal three times; after pressing the accelerator pedal slowly, release it and turn off the ignition. Now restart the engine to check the reset; the oil reminder indicator should remain off.
