It is a known defect of the handbrake control unit on this car; the control unit can occasionally malfunction causing the light to flash on the handbrake button and sometimes also on the instrument panel.

In most cases, it is a software or sensitivity issue with the control unit. In the YouTuber's example, the error often occurs if the handbrake is released too quickly after starting the engine; the control unit interprets this as an abnormal signal and activates the flashing.

This can be resolved by following this procedure: start the engine, press the brake pedal, and press the handbrake button. This way, the light will turn off and the system will return to normal.
