How to use the electronic handbrake on the Nissan Qashqai

In this video we see how the electronic handbrake of the Nissan Qashqai works. This device can be released in two ways: by accelerating by pressing the pedal and engaging the gear: in this way the handbrake disengages automatically. The second way is to press the brake pedal and push the handbrake switch at the same time. Before starting the car, make sure the handbrake light is off; otherwise a warning will appear on the instrument panel while driving, and the car will emit an audible signal. When parking, we must pull the switch upwards to activate the handbrake, and the light on the button will turn red. On vehicles with manual transmission, the handbrake activates automatically when the car is turned off.
