Replacing the battery is a maintenance task you can easily perform yourself: first, choose the correct battery in terms of capacity (Amperes), size, and terminal position; start by disconnecting the negative terminal of the battery, followed by the positive; then, unscrew the fixing bolt of the battery hold-down bracket located at the base; remove the bracket and extract the battery from its housing; insert the new battery, ensuring the terminals are oriented correctly, secure it with the bracket, and reconnect the terminals, removing any corrosion.
