What the "water in filter" warning light means in the Nissan Qashqai

In this video, see that if the "water in filter" warning light comes on after replacing the diesel filter, it may be due to fitting the wrong electronic component. There are two different types of filters that are identical in terms of the filtering part but differ in the electronic component, which - depending on the model - also changes colour, being black for one and white for the other. If you want to use the same filter, you can reuse the electronics from the old filter. The YouTuber shows how to do this: remove the retaining spring and lever it out to release the electronic part. Take the new seal and refit the electrical part from the old filter onto the new filter. This way, the error will be eliminated.

How to Replace the External Wing Mirror on a Ford C MAX
