How to Remove the Air Filter on an Opel Astra

Do you want to change the air filter on your Astra and don't know how? Follow these steps for removal and reinstallation. Open the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod. Raise the car on a column lift to the desired height. Remove the plastic cover of the filter by unscrewing the appropriate screws with a screwdriver, then lift the cover of the filter box. Extract the worn air filter and replace it with a new one. Reattach the plastic cover with the respective screws. Finally, reinstall the engine cover.
