First, go inside the cabin, then using a flat screwdriver or preferably a plastic spatula, pry off the cover of the hazard light button by leveraging in the indicated slot.

Next, remove the button itself, leverage along the inner edge of the vent, and detach it from the support. To fit a replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
