In this video we can immediately see the difference in functionality between a working shock absorber and an exhausted one; the difference is clear: we start by removing the front wheels and then the bracket supporting the disc, paying attention to the electrical connectors and brake oil delivery tubes. We remove the shock absorber cap and then remove it from below, we slide the shock absorber out of the spring and replace it with a new one: we can find them of the best quality on auto-doc. It/monroe with code 15485273 at the price of 48.16 euros each + 9.95 euros for shipping. We put back the dome and nut and reposition it inside the car. We close the shock absorber cap and reattach the brake disc, putting back the electrical connectors and oil tubes. We also put back the wheel and the job is done.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
