In this video, we see how to reset the service light on an Opel/Vauxhall Insignia. The reset is done using a diagnostic tool that is connected to the OBD port, and it is certainly an interesting procedure: we can find this same device, for example, on Amazon with the code B0CJV2QCYH at a price of 40.84 euros, with free delivery for Prime customers. We select the model of the car, turn on the ignition, wait for the reset message on the device, and turn off the ignition. Done! If we do not want to spend this money on the device, there is also a manual procedure: with the ignition on, press the button located on the turn signal lever, scroll through the menu until you reach "vehicle information," confirm by pressing the button at the end of the lever, scroll through the menu until you reach "oil life system," then press and hold the button at the end of the lever and the brake pedal for three seconds. Release simultaneously and the service is reset.
