How to replace the starter motor of the Opel Astra

The replacement of the starter motor of the Opel Astra follows a fairly complex procedure to be carried out independently. It is recommended to disconnect the vehicle's battery before replacing the starter motor. To begin the replacement, we must disconnect the power cables of the motor and immediately unscrew the fixing bolts. When disconnecting the bolts, we must be very careful with the bolt connected to the ground cable, which if damaged will need to be replaced. Remove the motor paying attention to the other components. Insert the new motor and connect the cables and tighten the bolts. Finish by connecting the battery and starting the vehicle to test the operation.
