How to remove the remote control microchip from the Opel Insignia.

Model: Vauxhall Insigna Insigna A, MK 1 - Years 2008-2017
Part: Key

Today we will explain how to remove the microchip from the remote control of the Opel Insignia by yourself. To remove the microchip, we need to open the remote control into two parts. If we need to replace the microchip but keep the casing, we should open the remote control using a flathead screwdriver, which should be inserted along the left side of the remote itself. If the remote casing needs to be replaced, a pair of pliers can be used to open the two parts. Once the remote control is open, we carefully remove the microchip, taking care not to damage it, and place it inside the new casing; or we can perform the replacement by inserting it back into the same remote control.

How to Install Universal Roof Bars on a Renault Clio

Install universal roof bars on a Renault Clio. Universal roof bars are used on cars with roof rails (fixed bar secured to the roof of the car) and without. Fit the bar kit (as shown in the video) with the bars adjusted according to the width of the car. Position the brackets at both ends of the doors on the car's original roof rails. Once you have adjusted the width of the anchoring brackets (measure with a tape measure), tighten the bolts with the butterfly nut (if a lock is present) until fully secured to the roof rails. Finally, fit the safety caps on both sides.
