How to perform self-diagnosis on the Opel Zafira B

In this video, we see how it is possible to access a self-diagnosis mode on the Opel Zafira B by pressing a combination of pedals: this method works for versions that have a display in the dashboard. We need to turn on the instrument cluster, fully press the accelerator pedal, and then press the brake three times—while keeping the accelerator pedal pressed down. On the third press of the brake, we release the accelerator pedal as well. This way, generic error codes will appear on the display, which are not as detailed as those we could obtain from the OBD, but they are still useful for identifying potential issues, as well as for running a series of tests on the warning lights or indicators.
