How to Replace the Rear Light Bulb on an Opel Astra

To replace the rear light bulb on an Opel Astra, open the boot and locate the affected side. Remove the access cover from the side trim of the boot to reach the back of the light unit. Unscrew the fixing nuts of the lamp and gently pull the unit outwards. At the back, locate the bulb holder and turn it counterclockwise to remove it. Remove the faulty bulb by pulling it out or pressing and turning, depending on the type. Insert the new bulb of the same model, reinsert the bulb holder, remount the light unit, and tighten the nuts.
