Here's how to remove the starter motor on an Opel Astra. After removing the engine cover from the car, disconnect the power terminals of the starter motor using pliers or a screwdriver depending on the pressure of the tabs, then unscrew the mounting bolts of the starter motor with a socket wrench and remove it from the engine compartment. Finally, install the new starter motor, reconnect the power cables and secure it with the mounting bolts. Prepare to reinstall the starter motor on the vehicle along with all its components.
