How to Replace Timing Belt on Opel Zafira

Replace the timing belt on an Opel Zafira; here’s how to do it. Lift the front bonnet of the car; remove the air box located on the right and the belt cover. With the car on a column lift, remove the front wheel and the right wheel arch liner. Use a spanner to loosen the tensioner pulley and slide the belt off. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the securing bolt of the tensioner pulley, then remove the water pump as shown in the video. Fit the new water pump, the tensioner, and the belt itself, tightening everything with the socket wrench. Refit the rivets along with the wheel arch liner and reattach the air filter.
