Replacing the Rear Headlamp Bulb

Model: Vauxhall Corsa Corsa D - Years 2006-2014

To replace the rear light bulbs, you need to remove the entire light assembly. The screw is accessible on the side of the boot after removing the side cover. Use a plastic tool to lever and remove the sound-absorbing polystyrene panel from the designated slot. Unscrew the large retaining knobs of the headlamp located under the cover and remove the light by disconnecting the connectors. Carefully remove the bulb holder and replace the faulty bulb by pressing it slightly and turning it anti-clockwise until it releases. Refit the new bulb using one with the same specifications. Reposition the light assembly in its housing by connecting the relevant connector. Tighten the fixing screw carefully and close the cover.

To replace the rear light and bulbs on a Ford Focus 2000/2004, first, open the tailgate of the boot. This gives access to the screw that holds the rear light in place. The screw to undo (using an appropriate screwdriver) is located inside the light and corresponds to the fold that accommodates the tailgate (as shown in the images).
