How do you remove the headlight bulb? Let's see how to remove the bulb from the headlight of an Opel Insignia. Lift the bonnet, locate the inspection cap of the headlight and remove it (located at the back of the headlight). Remove the washer fluid refill tube to take off the headlight cover. At this point, you will find the bulbs with metal clips, pull out the bulb holders from the headlight and extract the damaged bulb with the help of a screwdriver. Fit the new bulb into the front headlight. Test the operation of all the headlight lights.
