To replace the gear knob on an Opel Corsa, you must first remove the old knob. To do this, use an object to pry off the lower part of the gaiter from the centre console. Once the gaiter, to which the knob is attached, has been detached from the centre console, you will also need to detach it from the lever. Lift the gaiter completely to release the tabs that secure the knob to the lever. Once released, you can slide off the knob and the gaiter for replacement.
