It is always advisable to use original spare parts for your vehicle. First, remove the damaged mirror. The disassembly involves the outer shell, which has plastic clips attached to it. Reassemble everything in reverse order of disassembly. Also, check all cable connections to ensure the new external rear-view mirror is fitted correctly.
