This guide explains how to dismantle and potentially replace the poly-V trapezoidal belt for the Opel Zafira, model T98, first series. Note that the poly-V belt is a trapezoidal belt, not to be confused with the more traditional timing belt.

The tools to be used are mentioned in the demonstration video. The procedure involves the following steps: 1. Lift the car; 2. Pull the pulley sideways; 3. Remove the belt; 4. Return the pulley to its initial position; 5. Replace the old component with the new part; 6. Position the new belt on the pulley starting from underneath the vehicle and aligning it with the internal teeth; 7. Reassemble everything by reversing the steps.
