Resetting the oil service light on an Opel Insignia, as shown in this tutorial, is an extremely simple and quick operation. Before doing this, ensure you have completed all required scheduled maintenance tasks.

First, enter the cabin, then turn on the instrument panel and press the "MENU" button on the left control stalk. Next, scroll through the various options using the rotary knob, navigate to the remaining oil life, and press the "SET/CLR" button.

Once the reset is confirmed, simply restart the vehicle.
