This guide will show you how to remove and replace the gear knob and gaiter of the Opel Insignia, following the instructions below. First, get into the cabin and start by detaching the base of the gear gaiter.

Then, release the gear knob mechanism by pulling it firmly upwards to detach it from the lever, as shown in the video. At this point, install the new gear knob onto the gear lever, inserting the gaiter first, securing it to the base, and aligning the knob perfectly with the lever.
