Instructions for Removing the Driver's Airbag from Opel Corsa D Steering Wheel

If you need to disconnect the driver's airbag from the steering wheel, it is recommended first to disconnect the battery to avoid the activation of warning lights and to prevent the horn from sounding continuously during disassembly. The airbag is secured to the spokes of the steering wheel with springs, so you need to press on these springs to release it. Behind the spokes of the steering wheel, there are two access holes through which you can insert a screwdriver to press towards the centre of the steering wheel while keeping the airbag tensioned outward to facilitate its release. To complete the disassembly, disconnect the connectors by first removing the respective locks.
