To replace the gear knob on an Opel Zafira, use a tool to lever off the clips located at the base of the leather cover of the gear lever. Once all the clips are released, lift the cover and detach the ring that secures the knob to the end of the lever. At this point, insert the new knob onto the lever, securing it with the appropriate ring; after installation, reattach the clips at the base of the cover.
