In this tutorial, we can see how to replace the gear knob in the Opel Insignia, an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, let's go inside the car, then we grab the base of the gear lever boot and unhook it from the central tunnel. We then lift the boot, locate the clamp securing the knob and cut it. At this point, we can grab the knob itself, unscrew it from the lever and reassemble everything following the reverse procedure. Make sure to secure the replacement to the boot using a new clamp.
