This tutorial shows how to replace the gear knob on an Opel Insignia, a very simple and quick operation. First, go inside the cabin, then grip the base of the gear gaiter and unclip it from the centre tunnel.

Next, lift the gaiter, locate the retaining clip on the knob, and cut it. At this point, grasp the knob itself, unscrew it from the shaft, and reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure. Ensure to secure the replacement to the gaiter using a new clip.
