In this video we see how to disassemble the external rearview mirror of an Opel Meriva version B, and it is necessary to have a T40 Torx key. We see it in great depth, once the outer cover is removed. If we put the screwdriver inside the hole that we can see in the footage, we can remove this screw, which is the one that actually supports the entire mirror and once removed will allow us to remove the entire mirror assembly. We will have already removed the glass from the opposite side simply by levering with a plastic spatula. Now we can do all the maintenance work and to put it back in place we have the same screw of which we are now aware.
