Here’s how to remove the mirror cap on an Opel Meriva. Using a screwdriver, unscrew the screw located under the car mirror (if present). With a plastic or metal lever, pry between the mirror cap and the mirror itself. Pry until the cover detaches from the mirror (this operation is delicate as the plastic may break). Once the cap is removed, you can replace it with a new one or remove the mirror itself. Refit the new mirror cover by inserting it into the mirror. Finally, screw the fastening screw back in.
