Why can a Peugeot Satelis scooter systematically turn off during acceleration? The reasons can be many: a dirty or clogged carburetor (if it is not fuel injected) or if it is fuel injected, a faulty fuel pump. A common problem for both versions could be a dirty or clogged fuel filter, in which case cleaning it may be sufficient.

If there is an air leak between the carburetor and the cylinder head, it could be a problem related to a broken gasket or a loose screw. It could also be just a dirty or worn spark plug, in which case simply replacing it may solve the issue, or the problem could be with the coil, lacking spark when the engine revs increase.

It could also be a problem with the alternator battery, which should be tested with a multimeter.

How to Replace the Stator on the Triumph Daytona 675?
