In this video, the YouTuber explains in detail how the keyless system works on the Peugeot 3008. First, always remember that the physical emergency key is inserted inside the remote, which allows you to open the vehicle even if the remote battery is flat.

To open the vehicle, place the remote in your pocket and simply approach the locked car: just put your hand on the handle, the car recognises the key and unlocks.

If you move out of the key's range, the car will lock itself (you can tell by the mirrors folding in) within 15 to 20 seconds.
