If the cigarette lighter socket of our Peugeot 508 has suddenly stopped working, we can first of all check the status of the corresponding fuse, the position of which is indicated in this video. As shown, the fuse in question is located in the box inside the passenger compartment, specifically in the lower left area of the dashboard on the driver's side.

It is a 10A fuse and is the second one in the central row, looking at the box from the front. If it is faulty, make sure to use a replacement with equivalent specifications and to operate with the vehicle turned off, so as not to cause any damage.
