The fuse for the cigarette lighter on a 2012 Peugeot 508 is located inside the cabin fuse box. The fuse in question is labelled F13 and is 10 Amps with 12 Volts. To replace the fuse, open the passenger side glove compartment and then remove the cover of the fuse box to replace the fuse.

Insert the new fuse and close the cover of the box. Close the glove compartment and test the operation of the socket. If the problem persists, the cause of the malfunction may be the internal connector of the socket.
