When the cigarette lighter socket on the Peugeot 508 stops working, you need to replace the fuse related to its operation to resolve the issue. On this type of vehicle, the fuse is located inside the fuse box situated in the passenger glove compartment.

To replace the fuse, open the glove compartment and then the cover of the box on the side. Using pliers, remove the blue 15 Amp fuse and insert a new fuse with the same amperage.

Close the box and test the operation of the socket.
