How to reset the BSI of the Peugeot 307

In this video we can see how to reset, update, and prepare a Peugeot BSI: in fact, we cannot simply take a used BSI and install it on another Peugeot, expecting it to work. In the video, the operator reads the content of the BSI's Eprom memory using a hardware program (CH341A), in order to extract the security code necessary for some operations; then decides to completely erase the content of the memory, filling it with the hexadecimal value FF; then, using the diagnostic software DiagBox, performs a download to the empty BSI, assigning the car's chassis number on which it will be installed, then resets all parameters and factory values. It is not a procedure for everyone: it requires specific equipment, subscription to the PSA online service, and advanced specific skills. The risk of damaging the BSI with incorrect procedures is very high, and the video specifies that pirate tools are not able to perform it.
