How to Fit Front Shock Absorbers on Peugeot 207

To replace the front shock absorbers, you first need some tools such as spring compressors and a puller for removing the driveshaft from the hub. Start by loosening the central nut that secures the driveshaft to the hub before removing the wheel and lifting the vehicle. Disconnect the cable guides, the drop link, and the ball joint of the suspension arm, then extract the driveshaft and loosen the bolt that secures the shock absorber to the hub. At this point, lower the vehicle, remove the plastic cover under the windscreen to access the shock absorber top mount and complete its removal. Use the spring compressors to compress the spring and remove the mount from the shock absorber shaft. Proceed in reverse order to fit the new shock absorber.
