Let’s see how the infotainment system in the Peugeot 208 MK2 works: it is a mid-level system, with an interface that is starting to show its age. Its main feature is a mix of touchscreen controls and physical buttons. The screen is an 8" touchscreen. The dedicated physical buttons are located below the screen for quick functions (climate, radio, etc.), but some adjustments, like temperature, require the use of the screen. Both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are supported wirelessly, but they are slow; it is better to use them with a cable. Navigation is integrated with charging stations for hybrid/electric versions; for the electric vehicle, there are dedicated screens to monitor energy flow and schedule charging. The driving assistants are basic. The system is functional but not excellent, typical of a B-segment car. The presence of some physical buttons is a plus, but the interface is not the most responsive on the market.
