How to Change an ABS Sensor on a Peugeot 206

To replace an ABS sensor on a Peugeot 206, park the car on a flat surface, engage the handbrake, and safely lift the affected wheel. Remove the wheel and locate the ABS sensor near the hub. Follow the related cable to the connector, freeing it from the supports and clips that hold it in place. Disconnect the electrical plug, then unscrew the bolt that secures the sensor to the hub carrier. Gently extract the component from its seat; if it is stuck due to dirt or oxidation, move it carefully without damaging the housing. Clean the mounting area and insert the new sensor, then tighten the bolt. Reposition the wiring in the original supports and reconnect the connector. Refit the wheel, lower the car, and check that the ABS light turns off after starting or during driving.
