In this tutorial, we will see how to replace the auxiliary belt on a Peugeot 208 1.2 Puretech, a very simple and quick operation but that requires good manual skills. First, lift the front right side with a jack, taking all necessary safety precautions, then remove both the wheel and the inner wheel arch cover.

Next, open the bonnet, grasp the tensioner with a 13mm spanner, loosen the tension, and remove the old belt. In the same way, position the replacement and then reassemble everything.
