How to Replace the Cigarette Lighter Fuse in a Peugeot 308

To replace the cigarette lighter fuse in the Peugeot 308, turn off the vehicle and remove the key from the ignition. Locate the fuse box situated inside the cabin, usually behind a small door under the steering wheel or on the side of the dashboard.

Open the fuse box cover and refer to the diagram on the cover or in the manual to locate the cigarette lighter fuse. Use the tweezers provided in the box to extract the faulty fuse.

Insert a new fuse with the same amperage into the same slot. Close the fuse box cover and turn on the vehicle to check that the cigarette lighter socket works correctly.
