Removing Gear Knob on Peugeot 308

Is the gear lever damaged? Here’s how to remove the knob and take it off. Use a plastic lever to disconnect the leather gaiter frame, then grip the knob and rotate it left and right until it comes off the gear stick (cut the plastic tie). For reassembly: take the new knob and slide it onto the stick in the centre console, secure it with the tie; fit the new leather gaiter with clips and secure the frame. After fitting the new gaiter, check that all parts are correctly installed.
